Ethics , Cancellation and refund policy

What happens after you book?

Once your booking has been placed (date/ time agreed)  You will receive an email containing:

• A consent form covering the agreed service any subjects that will not be discussed

• Sumup link for the booked service

Please complete both as soon possible. Once the consent form has been returned and the payment received, your booking will be confirmed.

What is the cancellation policy?

• If you need to cancel a booked sitting or reading please give at least 7 days notice to receive a full refund. Any cancellations made less that 7 days before will be considered on a case by case basis.

• If Ashley or a representative of the bear witch house needs to cancel for any reason, a full refund will apply. 

 Changing date or time

• If you need to change the date and time of your appointment, please contact us at least 7 days before the original booking

• Changes will be accommodated where availability allows. Requests made less than 7 days before the original appointment will full under the  cancellation/refund policy. 

Refund policy

• Appointments provided are offered so with the utmost integrity and respect and are never done to harm or hurt, or disappoint. 

• Because these are spiritual services offered that involve a degree of belief, spiritual understanding and personal interpretation, refunds are not offered once a sitting or reading has taken place.

• You are always encouraged  to make sure you fully understand what is being offered as part of these services before booking or paying.

Exception:

• If however, within the first 10 minutes of a sitting or reading, Ashley (or a representative of the bear witch house) feels there is not a strong enough connection ( to spirit or intuitively), the session will be stopped. An apology given, and you will be offered a rebooking or refund. 

• The integrity of the work and respect for the spirit world always come first.

Safeguarding/ Ethics

Your comfort and safety matter.

• If at any point during a sitting or reading you feel uncomfortable, you may ask for it to be stopped immediately.

In the same way, if Ashley (or a representative of The Bear Witch House) feels that a sitter is uncomfortable, or is behaving in a disrespectful or inappropriate manner, the session will be ended.

The following subjects will not be discussed:

Financial advice or predictions

Pregnancy predictions

Medical diagnoses (this is the role of a qualified doctor; spiritual healing may be discussed in a general sense)

Legal matters

• Sittings and readings will not be given to anyone under the influence of alcohol or substances, or to anyone under the age of 18.

• These services are offered for spiritual connection, insight, and guidance only.

• They are not a substitute for counselling, therapy, or professional medical/legal advice. If you need support in those areas, please seek the appropriate professional help.

• Intuitive readings offer spiritual insight and guidance — no guarantees are made.

• Spirit sittings are given within the spiritual belief of mediumship and the afterlife. While the aim is to provide evidence of connection, no absolute claims can be made.
